From these results from Fig.3, it's clear that children's educational videos are the most popular with CVS 3D Rhymes dominating the top three spots. Gaming is the second most popular from Fig 3 and 4, with the occasional stand alone video from an independent animator breaking through.

However the tool that was used to get these results from, made errors and was giving information that was supposed to be from 2015, but instead showed videos from a year from that point and at times misses out existing popular videos. This shows YouTube's analytics are making errors meaning popular high quality videos are not getting the right promotion.
